Candidates Continue To Try To Get Seized Cannabis

(Providence, RI)  --  A candidate for governor and a candidate for attorney general who were arrested after police found 48 pounds of marijuana at their West Greenwich home are once-again being denied their attempt to get the pot back.  A state Superior Court judge again rejected arguments from Anne Armstrong and Alan Gordon on Monday that they had not broken any laws and should therefore get their seized property returned to them.  Armstrong and Gordon, running as members of the Compassion Party, were arrested in October.
