(Providence, RI) -- Legislation has been introduced to expand personal finance education in Rhode Island public schools. State treasurer Seth Magaziner joined state Senator Sandra Cano and Representative Joseph McNamara on Thursday to introduce the bill. Magaziner has pointed out that Rhode Island is in the minority of states that do not offer such education, and says young people must be financially literate to be successful.
