(Warwick, RI) -- Rhode Island's Congressional delegation got together on Monday to publicly urge President Trump to end the shutdown. Senators Sheldon Whitehouse and Jack Reed, and Representatives David Cicilline and Jim Langevin appeared with union representatives for federal workers, including TSA officers and air traffic controllers, at a news conference at T.F. Green Airport. Langevin said Democrats have provided President Trump with several opportunities to end what he called a self-imposed and unnecessary shutdown, while the other three placed blame with Senate Republicans.
