(Johnston, RI)--There's an answer to the mystery of what caused a loud noise to be heard by people in Johnston and Cranston on Saturday morning.The Cranston Police Department says it came from a power plant in Johnston: specifically, the Rhode Island State Energy Center.The plant was apparently going through a period of general maintenance and authorities said there was no danger to the public.
