Senator From Rhode Island Says Military Superior Officer Raped Her

(Washington, DC)--Rhode Island native Martha McSally, now a U.S. Senator in Arizona, is revealing that she was raped during her military career.McSally, the first woman fighter pilot to fly in combat, testified during a Senate Armed Services subcommittee hearing yesterday that the assault happened in the Air Force from a superior officer.McSally has previously said she was pressured by her track coach at St. Mary's Academy in East Providence into having sex with him when was 17-years-old.
