(Providence, RI)--The season is officially over for the Providence College men's basketball team.The Friars lost to Arkansas, 84-to-72, at the Dunkin' Donuts Center on Tuesday in the first round of the National Invitation Tournament.PC failed in its bid to win its conference tournament to get an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament and did not receive an at-large selection.Arkansas will play Indiana in the next round of the NIT.
