(Cranston, RI)--Two people are under arrest for a motor-vehicle pursuit that went through five towns in Rhode Island on Thursday. The Cranston Police Department says after a check on a suspicious vehicle at around 7 a.m. yesterday, the driver suddenly drove off, running over an officer's foot.A second officer reportedly pursued the vehicle through Scituate, Coventry, West Warwick and then East Greenwich, where the car crashed into another vehicle.The driver was identified as Patricia Chivers, and the passenger as Matthew Chivers, both of Warwick; they face numerous charges.The operator of the vehicle that was hit reportedly suffered minor injuries.
