(Undated)--Lifespan, Care New England and Brown University are being asked to jump-start talks on a new, integrated academic hospital system.Governor Gina Raimondo announced yesterday that she has made that request after Boston-based Partners Health Care said it was withdrawing its application to acquire CNE.The president and CEO of the Rhode Island Foundation has called the news of Brown, CNE and Lifespan coming back to the table "encouraging".RI House Speaker Nicholas Mattiello said in a statement that a unified hospital and health care delivery system appears to be in the best interests of the needs of Rhode Islanders.
