(Burrillville, RI)--An extended public hearing is being held for the proposed natural gas-powered Clear River Energy Center in Burrillville.The Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management will hold the hearing today to gather public comment on a draft air quality permit.There are afternoon and evening sessions at Burrillville High School's auditorium.The overall decision on siting and building the Invenergy facility rests with the Energy Facility Siting Board.
