(Boston, MA)--Johnston native and Bishop Hendricken High School alum Joe Mazzulla is poised to become an assistant coach for the Boston Celtics.ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski is reporting the hire.Mazzulla won three state championships and then made it to the Final Four playing at West Virginia.He most-recently served as the head coach of Fairmont State, and prior to that, he worked for the Celts' G-League team as an assistant coach.
