Red Sox, Yankees Pile On The Runs Across The Pond

(London) -- The Red Sox are headed back stateside after a historic series with the New York Yankees in London, England this weekend. The teams combined for a high number of runs scored - 50 total - in the two games, as the Yankees won both, 17-to-13 and 12-to-8. The games on Saturday and Sunday were the first two Major League Baseball contests to ever be played in Europe. Michael Chavis, who was called up from the Pawtucket Red Sox this season, hit a pair of three-run home runs in the first game.
