New Laws Cover Utility Responsibility For Roads, Airport Air Monitoring

(Providence, RI)--The signing of five laws were announced by Governor Raimondo's office on Wednesday.One requires public utilities to repair roads that they altered or excavated.Another bill that was signed extends the required air quality monitoring program at T.F. Green Airport for two years, to 2021.Governor Raimondo also signed into law an act requiring the RI Secretary of State to publish the governor's executive orders on its website.The other new laws deal with the topics of accessory dwellings and education accountability.
