Sea Plane Flips On Landing Attempt In Charlestown, No Injuries

(Charlestown, RI)--No injuries are being reported after a small plane wrecked in South County on Saturday.The small sea plane flipped after the pilot, identified as Bryan Hassett, attempted to land on Watchaug Pond in Charlestown.The state Department of Environmental Management says Hassett didn't raise the retractable wheels on the plane after taking off in Westerly, which led to the crash.
