(Providence, RI)--Governor Gina Raimondo signed an executive order on Wednesday banning sales of flavored e-cigarettes in Rhode Island.Raimondo cited the growing public health crisis of e-cigarette use, echoing the words of Governor Charlie Baker one day after he enacted a temporary ban on all vaping products in Massachusetts. The order allows non-flavored e-cigs to stay on the shelves, according to Raimondo, who is directing the Department of Health to establish emergency regulations. The state health department has not reported any vaping-related illnesses in Rhode Island.
