RI Driver In Fatal Connecticut Crash Reportedly Had Suspended License

(Undated)--WPRI-TV reports the Westerly teenager who drove the wrong way on I-95 in Connecticut last week leading up to a fatal crash had a suspended license.Police say 17-year-old Abigayl Lanphear, along with a couple from West Warwick, died in the two-vehicle crash that happened after the wrong-way driving action on the highway in North Stonington.WPRI reports Lanphear's driving records showed a suspended license in December 2018 after a citation for violating terms of her youth driving license.It was also reported that she had been in a crash in Westerly a month after getting her license earlier last year.
