Jennifer Aniston is officially on Instagram! The 50-year-old actress held off on joining social media for years, but it seems like she was finally convinced. Perhaps Aniston's Friends co-star and Instagram queen Courteney Cox finally convinced her to make an account. After all, Aniston has appeared on Cox's own account numerous times.
Speaking of Friends, Aniston's first post ever on Tuesday (October 15) is a photo from the cast's recent reunion dinner at Cox's house. Cox shared a photo from their 'rare' night all together, however, only Aniston and Matt LeBlanc were pictured. Aniston took things to the next level by posting a photo with the entire Friends group. The selfie is a bit fuzzy, but Cox, LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer and Lisa Kudrow are all huddled in close with Aniston. "And now we’re Instagram FRIENDS too. HI INSTAGRAM," Jennifer perfectly captioned the group shot.
During a recent interview, Aniston opened up about the cast reunion. "We just had dinner on Saturday. Yeah, the whole gang, everyone was there. Schwimmer was in town and we all happened to have a window of time so we all got together," she explained. "We laughed so hard," Aniston said of their dinner. When pressed about whether she actually likes all of her former co-stars, Aniston said "not one" of them ever annoyed her. She called the experience "lightning in a bottle."
Not only did Aniston talk about how much fun they had together, she also revealed all six of them "miss Friends everyday." While they'd "love" to do a reboot of the show in order to act together again, she also admits there's some fear about ruining how special their original run was. "I really think there's an idea that if there's a reboot of the show, it won't be even close to as good as what it was, so why do it? It would ruin it," she said.
There may never be a Friends reboot, however, now that Aniston is on Instagram we might just get more of these amazing reunion selfies.
