Man Linked To Deadly Jersey City Shootout Has Been Detained

A Monmouth County man linked to last week’s deadly Jersey City shootout will appear in court today.

The U.S. Attorney's Office announced over the weekend that Ahmed A-Hady is scheduled to appear in a federal court today on a count related to being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm. FBI agents arrested A-Hady Saturday morning following the execution of a search warrant that allegedly turned up weapons and ammo at A-Hady's home and a pawn shop run by his family.

The feds purport A-Hady's phone number and the pawn shop's address was written on a note found in the pants pockets of David Anderson. Anderson and Francine Graham have been identified by officials as the suspects killed on December 10th in the Jersey City kosher market after they killed three people and a police officer before arriving at the store.
