(Westerly, RI) -- State and local police were on the scene for hours on Thursday after a multiple shooting incident at Babcock Village, an apartment complex in Westerly. According to Westerly Police, three people were shot around 10:30am. One was killed and the other two have been treated at Westerly and Rhode Island Hospitals. The shooter is also now dead from a self-inflicted gunshot. The shooter's name has not been announced, but has been identified as a 66 year old man who lived at the complex. Two of the victims were employees of the complex. A lock down at Westerly public schools was lifted around 12:45pm.
