Congress Passes Raising Smoking Age To 21

(Washington, DC) -- The legal smoking age is close to being 21. Congress passed the measure Thursday, raising the age to buy tobacco products from 18. It's part of a one-trillion dollar package which covers eight bills. President Trump will need to sign it by the end of the day to avoid another government shutdown. If Trump signs off, the new age limit would take effect in nine months.
