(Washington, DC) -- House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has been keeping a watchful eye on the missile attacks targeting U.S. forces in Iraq.
The California Democrat tweeted "We must ensure the safety of our service members." She says that includes putting an end to "needless provocations" from the Trump administration, and demanding Iran stop its violence.
Pelosi argued that America and the world cannot afford a war. Iran has claimed responsibility for Tuesday's attack that targeted two bases housing American troops.
