Man Sentenced For Shots-Fired Incident At PVDFest Last Year

(Providence, RI)--A Providence man is being sentenced to five years in the ACI after a shooting incident at Providence's PVDFest last June.The state attorney general's office says Michael Robertson pleaded guilty yesterday to possession of a pistol without a license, possession of a firearm after a crime of violence and firing in a compact area.A.G. Peter Neronha said Robertson's conduct - firing a gun in the middle of a crowded event - caused panic, fear and chaos, and it could have been much worse.
