Four Charged In Federal Steroid Production-Distribution Investigation

(Providence, RI)--Four people have been charged in federal court in Providence as part of an investigation into an illegal steroid scheme.It's alleged that David Esser of North Attleboro, Massachusetts arranged for large quantities of raw steroids from international suppliers, primarily based in Hong Kong, and then arranged to have finished products sent to a stash house operated in North Attleboro.The DOJ says there was a series of early-morning law enforcement actions in Rhode Island and Massachusetts on Wednesday and that two others from North Attleboro, plus an individual from Providence, were also arrested.
