(Providence, RI)--A Providence man is facing charges after an eleven-year-old girl sustained serious injuries from being struck by a vehicle.The Providence Police Department says the girl was helping bring in groceries when a pickup truck crashed into other vehicles, pinning her against a building on Douglas Avenue overnight Sunday.The girl was taken to Hasbro Children's Hospital.Police say Agostinho Politano is charged with failing to stop for an accident causing injury, a felony, and other lesser offenses.
