Coronavirus: Governor Says Help Plan Coming For Domestic Violence Victims

(Providence, RI)--Governor Gina Raimondo last week promised a plan to provide additional support for domestic violence victims during the coronavirus crisis.Rhode Island State Police Superintendent Colonel James Manni reported an uptick in domestic violence calls last month, when people began staying at home because of the virus.Raimondo told victims they are not alone and that shelters are open, and domestic violence hotlines can be called.
