- 430 new cases in RI. Total now 7,129
- 13 new fatalities. Total deaths now 215. The 13 new deaths range in age from 60's to 100+ years old.
- Total number of people tested is now over 50,000
- RI leads nation in per-capita testing.
- 45% of all cases occur in Latino community. Governor says this is a point of focus for contact tracing and prevention. State is intensifying advertising about COVID-19 awareness on Spanish language media.
- Despite the nice weather on Saturday, Gov. Raimondo encourages all residents to adhere to social distancing guidelines, saying that the plateau in cases is a positive sign, but cases could rise again if social distancing is ignored.
- The governor encouraged everyone to support the RI arts community. Over $15,000 donated to RI Artist Relief Fund in its first week.
