Reopening Date For Childcare Centers Unchanged, New Regulations Posted

(Providence, RI)--Governor Gina Raimondo on Tuesday said childcare centers in Rhode Island are still on track to open June 1st.Childcare programs are being authorized to re-open under new coronavirus-prevention regulations; the website ReopeningRI.com posted guidance for providers on Monday, which includes keeping children in "stable" groups of ten or less.Governor Raimondo said yesterday that the state is providing RI childcare centers with fifty-thousand surgical masks.
