Second Phase Of Reopening In RI Officially Starts Today

(Providence, RI)--Rhode Island is entering the next part of the phased re-opening that has been created by Governor Gina Raimondo's administration in response to the coronavirus pandemic.Starting today, the social gathering limit goes up to fifteen, all state beaches can re-open, so can fitness centers and other personal care services, and restaurants can allow indoor dining; places of worship re-opened this weekend, and the state's casinos are back on June 8th.Also allowed in Phase 2: office work and youth sports.Visits to nursing homes are still a no-go.
