(Providence, RI)--Governor Gina Raimondo has renewed an executive order requiring people to wear masks in public in Rhode Island because of the coronavirus until July 4th.The order was set to expire yesterday.The order continues to mandate the masks for anyone in an indoor or outdoor place that is open to the public and within retail businesses, with exceptions for people who can maintain a reasonable distance, infants, people who would suffer health problems and other certain exceptions.Raimondo said late last month that mask-wearing might have to last towards the end of the year.
