State Encouraging Increased Coronavirus Testing Of Asymptomatic People

(Providence, RI)--The state of Rhode Island is working to test more people who are without symptoms for the novel coronavirus in an effort to better-track the disease.People in congregate care settings, first responders, close-contact personal care workers and childcare employees can get tested for free at a National Guard site as part of the new "early warning system".Any Rhode Islander who attended a protest or demonstration this weekend, even if they do not have symptoms, is also being encouraged to get tested.To schedule one, you can call 401-222-8022.
