State Ed Commissioner: No More Snow Days

(Providence, RI)--Rhode Island State Education Commissioner Angelica [[ ahn-HELL-ick-uh ]] Infante-Green says "snow days" -- as Rhode Island schoolchildren know them -- are gone, as they are being replaced with distance-learning.Infante-Green was with Governor Gina Raimondo on Wednesday as the governor announced that all school districts are aiming to return to in-person learning at the end of August, but schools will be ready to conduct distance-learning throughout the year.Remote learning became the only option for the last few months of this school year because of the coronavirus.
