(Providence, RI) -- Governor Gina Raimondo is unhappy with the low response to her request that people working in close contact businesses get tested for COVID-19, even if they don't have symptoms. Her goal is 900 tests a day, but only about 250 were tested for free over the weekend. Raimondo says testing asymptomatic people working in places like salons, restaurant and gyms will help alert health officials to potential outbreaks.
Asymptomatic persons can sign up for a test at the website: https://portal.ri.gov/s/login/?language=en_US&startURL=%2Fs%2F&ec=302
