Data Released Showing Rhode Island Businesses Participating In PPP

(Undated)--Over 17-thousand Rhode Island businesses have received Paycheck Protection Program loans, according to newly-released government data.Those businesses, which include the Pawtucket Red Sox and the company that owns the Foxy Lady Strip Club in Providence, have shared nearly two-billion dollars in loans.Companies in the Ocean State collectively said over a hundred-thousand jobs would be preserved through the federal program that was established to help with the economic impact of the coronavirus pandemic.
