(Undated) -- The Rhode Island Department of Health is advising pet owners that certain Sportmix dog and cat foods are being recalled because of a toxin produced by mold. The Midwestern Pet Foods products went to online distributors and retail stores nationwide. If symptoms of toxin poisoning develop including sluggishness, loss of appetite, vomiting and/or diarrhea, a veterinarian should be contacted immediately.
