Providence Police Officer Faces Suspension

(Providence, RI) -- A Providence police officer involved in a crash that ended with a moped driver in a coma is being suspended for two days. Public Safety Commissioner Steven Pare says Officer Kyle Endres did not drive his cruiser safely and he did not wear a seat belt. Yesterday, Attorney General Peter Neronha announced there would be no criminal charges filed in connection with the crash last October that critically injured 24-year-old Jhamal Gonsalves.
