Selena Gomez Shares Release Date For Her First Spanish EP 'Revelación'

Selena Gomez has announced her first-ever Spanish extended play, titled Revelación.

The Disney alum broke the exciting news on Wednesday (January 27), signaling her new music era is nearly upon us. "REVELACIÓN, mi primer EP en español, estará disponible el 12 de marzo. Pre-ordénalo mañana a las 9 pm PT. // REVELACIÓN, my first ever Spanish EP, is out March 12. Preorder it tomorrow at 9 pm PT," Gomez wrote on social media of her new music project, which translates to Revelation.

In announcing its release date, Gomez also shared the captivating album artwork for her new EP, which finds the 28-year-old wearing a stunning, crimson-colored dress in front of an all-red backdrop.

What’s more, the “Rare” musician also teased the second EP from her upcoming EP, which will be called "Baila Conmigo (Dance With Me)” featuring Rauw Alegando and Tainy. The record drops this Friday (January 29).

Gomez, who released her highly anticipated, chart-topping fifth studio album Rare in 2020, signaled the passion project earlier this month with her first Spanish-language track in years, “De Una Vez.”

Gomez dropped the track in tandem with a music video, and in a behind-the-scenes special, admitted that she’d “spent hours” trying to perfect her Spanish for her new single.

"This is my first Spanish song that I’ve done, I think, since I was maybe 18, 19?" Gomez confessed. "I spent hours trying to perfect the language. I also know some of it growing up but it has been really fun to step into it and it’s just a whole different world."
