(Middletown, RI) -- A police parade is canceled again in Rhode Island over COVID-19 concerns. The Aquidneck Island National Police Parade organizers posted the news on its Facebook account yesterday. The event to have happened in early May this year will be canceled until May 2022. The annual event includes a walk by law enforcement members from Middletown to Newport in memory and honor of those officers fallen in the line of duty.
