McKee Picks Matos As Lt. Governor

(Providence, RI) -- Sabina Matos is Governor Dan McKee's choice to be Rhode Island's lieutenant governor. She's currently the president of the Providence City Council. Matos says she's humbled and excited. Her nomination is subject to approval by the state Senate. The office of lieutenant governor has been vacant since McKee became governor when Gina Raimondo resigned to be U.S. Secretary of Commerce.
