More Vaccine Appointments Released in RI

(Providence, RI) -- Rhode Island Governor Dan McKee and Health Director Dr. Nicole Alexander-Scott said Thursday the state is in a race against the coronavirus variants. At a weekly COVID-19 press briefing, they repeated the call for all Rhode Islanders to get vaccinated. McKee said 20,000 more vaccine appointments would be made available today. The governor said eligibility for the shot is continuing to expand in Rhode Island's hardest-hit zip codes.
