No Hurry To Re-Start J&J COVID-19 Vaxx In RI

(Providence, RI) -- There is no mad rush underway in Rhode Island to resume using the Johnson and Johnson version of the COVID-19 vaccine. The FDA released its hold on the product after nearly two weeks on Friday. More studies were conducted after some recipients suffered from blood clots. Rhode Island health department spokesperson Joseph Wendelken said yesterday his office won't be making a decision before next week as to when the state will again start using Johnson and Johnson's version. Wendelken says Rhode Island has plenty of the Moderna and Pfizer doses available for the time being.
