(Newport, RI) -- The Newport Gulls baseball team needs host families. College players from all over the country will soon arrive ahead of the June 4th home opener, but the team has been struggling to find them housing. The Newport Daily News reports a team spokesman says there's reluctance to host this year due to the coronavirus. However, he says the players will be fully vaccinated. The New England Collegiate Baseball League season was canceled last year because of the pandemic.
