Building Owned By MVD Chief Is Part Of Prostitution Investigation

(Providence, RI) -- A building owned by the head of the Rhode Island Motor Vehicle Division is one of several in a prostitution investigation. WPRI reported yesterday that a commercial building on Broad Street in Cranston belonging to Walter Craddock is one of six properties involved in the police probe. Craddock says he would have evicted the renters had he known of their activities. Craddock served with the Cranston Police Department for nearly 30 years and retired as chief in 2002.
