Sam Could Hit Southern New England Soon

Sep 30, 2021

The National Weather Service says Hurricane Sam will increase the risk for rip currents at Southern New England beaches.

The timing is this weekend into early next week.

Forecasters expect Sam to stay distant off the eastern U.S. coast as a major hurricane.

The exact path of the storm is still in question.
