Governor McKee has signed a bill that authorizes new school building construction in Central Falls.
City Council President Jessica Vega says hopefully a new high school will be built within a couple of years.
She says there's also been discussion about merging schools, but nothing official.
The Bill signed by Governor McKee will also allow for increased maintenance for schools within the system.
