Red Sox Face Must Win In Houston Friday

The Astros are one win away from another trip to the World Series.

Houston rolled past the Red Sox 9-1 in Game Five of the ALCS in Boston.

Framber Valdez earned the victory after allowing just one run over eight innings.

Yordan Alvarez got the Astros on the board first with a solo home run in the second inning.

Alvarez added a couple more runs for Houston in the sixth as part of a five-run inning.

Chris Sale was charged with the loss after allowing four runs in five-and-a-third.

Rafael Devers drove in the lone run for the Sox with a solo shot in the seventh.

The Astros will look to close out the series back in Houston in Game Six on Friday.
