Clean Up And Power Restoration Continues

More than 70 -thousand homes are still without power in Rhode Island. 

There was also widespread tree damage throughout the state as the result of the powerful nor'easter that slammed into the region overnight. 

Winds peaked at 45-to-65 miles per hour early this morning. 

However, a gust of 73-miles per hour was recorded on Block Island and 70 miles an hour in Bristol.
