Power Outages Being Repaired- Showers But Still Windy

A windy late-October nor'easter is blowing through Rhode Island.

Eversource reported over three-thousand power outages in the Ocean State overnight Wednesday.

As of 3:30 this morning, the top wind gust reported in the state by the National Weather Service was 64 miles per hour on Block Island.

The weather service has a High Wind Warning for southern RI until Wednesday afternoon.

Despite the winds the rest of the day- we will have just showers today.

Thursday the sun will return.
