The manager of a Providence nightclub was arrested this week for allegedly trying to bribe a member of the city's Board of Licenses.
Daniel Marlo Caraballo, a manager for the Lit Lounge Night Club on Broad Street, allegedly handed a worker an envelope with two-thousand-dollars in cash after going to City Hall requesting help filling out paperwork.
Police say that the envelope contained 20, 100 dollar bills and that it has already been booked as evidence.
Lit Lounge was ordered to cease-and-desist last month by the board for failing to renew its entertainment licenses.
