Rhode Island Seeing Covid Spikes Despite Vaccination Rates

More health experts agree it's safe to celebrate Thanksgiving with family and friends, despite a rise in COVID cases.

Several states are reporting a surge similar to one last winter including Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Vermont, Illinois, New Mexico and Colorado.

A survey of 28 medical experts found they advise against large events without masks, but say traveling is okay.

The CDC only recommends holiday travel for those vaccinated.

Governor McKee is expected to speak on the latest results at some point later today.
