Judge Won't Stop State From Mandating Vaccines For Healthcare Workers

The State of Rhode Island has come another step closer to a vaccine mandate for healthcare workers.

The Providence Journal reports a federal judge refused to issue an order stopping the state of Rhode Island from enforcing a coronavirus vaccinate mandate for healthcare workers on Friday.

The judge observed that the state has a history of requiring vaccinations for people working in the industry.

The mandate was challenged for failing to provide a religious exemption.

So far there is no word on a further appeal and there has been no comment from the governor yet.
