McKee Sees Testing, Vaccinations, Hospital Staffing As Key Goals To Meet

Governor Dan McKee says he has three goals when it comes to the pandemic.

Increasing the capacity of testing throughout the state. Increasing the vaccination rate and to lessen the stress the hospitals throughout the state are under.

The Governor also says the state has received 100 thousand rapid at home tests that will be distributed to cities and towns.

And Governor McKee says he expects the state to take possession of more tests in the near future as well.

The Governor has called up the National Guard to help with staffing problems at hospitals.

60 members of the Rhode Island Guard will be at Butler Hospital performing non-medical services.
